We believe that discovering a breakthrough artist is one of the most exciting parts of music. While nothing quite beats the atmosphere of a live show for full immersion, though we’re definitely biased there, getting to know a new artist through their vision is the next best thing. Our BAD BITE series aims to introduce you to some of our most exciting rising artists and give you a front-row seat to their journey.
Today’s One To Watch is Bad Bite
Bad Bite are a London band born somewhere between instinct and accident. There is no map, no genre, no formula. Their music begins with wild improvisation and follows whatever crawls out — a riff, a pulse, a wrong note that suddenly becomes the only right one. Songs appear rather than get written. Their first releases, “Where” and “April”, are glimpses of a sound that refuses to sit still long enough to be named. Bad Bite are searching for something that doesn’t exist yet — strange but familiar, beautiful in the wrong places, held together by chemistry, impulse and the feeling that it could all fall apart at any second. They don’t know where it’s going. That’s the point.
