Formed in November 2007 by Ced (Bass ex Blind Addiction) and Emster (Vocals), the band very soon differentiated itself from others by its unique style of music but also by the release of its first album in 2009, Cleaning out the Clutter.

Their style has allowed them to perform in a good number of clubs in the Swiss Romand but also abroad at such prestigious venues as Le Biplan in Lille, L’ Espace Kiron in Paris and The Bridge House II in London . Dead Dog Cafe has shared the stage with groups like Mass Hysteria(FR), Café Bertrand(FR), Subsonic(FR) and Smokin’ Barrels (UK) and has had a considerable impact on the media, notably in the Press, such as le 24 heures, La Région, Le Transit magazine et the web publication, Contre Culture Info, as well as on air, such as RougeFM (Red Rock, Les Patriotes), Radio Chablais (le 12h) and for the last nine months on Rock En Folie in France, not to mention several appearances on the TSR TV programme Musicomax.

2010 was a year of change notably with the arrival of Gil on Drums (ex Blind Addiction) whose creativity and energy empowered the Band. DDC released their 2nd album “Dissociation” in 2015. The same year Val (vocals) and Sacha (bass) joined the band. DDC’s newest EP “In Which World?” has been released in January 2017 and the band is eager to rock the stage!

Dead Dog Café brings extensive stage experience from more than a hundred concerts and an energy beyond the usual when it comes to taming raw sound.
