Ricky and the Hats

About

"Fill your glass with a tipple of whisky, put the fire on and grab your favourite woolly
socks. You are about to be seduced by a fresh new sound that's as British as fish
and chips and a pint of beer"

With their colourful range of facial expressions and a decent amount of banter,
Ricky and the Hats are turning heads! Their playful, tongue in cheek lyrics, fused
with expressive vocals and funky reggae pop-beat poetry, makes for an interesting
fusion delivered by an eclectic mix of characters who simply love to engage with their audience.

This talented bunch performed live at London Rocks 2013, an annual charity awareness
and fundraising event at Cafe De Paris (in aid of The Kezi Silverstone Trust) alongside some prestigious acts and personalities such as Lee Ryan, Juan Zelada, Simon Webbe, Jethro 'Alonestar' Sheeran, Steve Rodgers, Kezi Silverstone, Jonathan Wilkes and Paul Burling.

After competing against 10,000 acts, they were crowned runners up at Open Mic UK 2013 and overall winners of their category, which had them walking away with not only smiles upon their funny little faces, but a cash prize to boot.  They also received the "Best Original Song Award" from Root 1.
