Heavy on the Strawberries are a three piece acoustic folk band based in the "leafy" town of Caterham. The band members consist of three brothers Luke, Daniel and Thomas Barron (Luke and Daniel are the twins and Thomas is younger). The trio consists of a Mandolin, Guitar and Cajon filled out by the brothers’ three part resonant harmonies.

All three brothers were introduced to the world of Music by their Granddad who gave them their first instruments as toddlers. They would often go watch their granddad play the accordion in his Ceilidh (Scottish folk dancing) band and that is where their affiliation with music began.

This early introduction to the world of Folk music has resulted in the creation of this folk trio, to continue family tradition.
