Sir. O (aka. Saar Oron) is an indie rock/pop singer & songwriter, born 11th of June, 1991 in the Galilee, Israel.
Having picked up the guitar at the age of 11, Saar was quick to pen his first song only two years later and started recording demos in his home studio.
Later on he performed on many local stages all over Israel and released an indie EP.
In late 2012 he moved to London, UK, where he currently resides.
On 25 March 2013, after performing dozens of stunning sets in London venues, Sir. O released his debut EP, 'Someone You're Thinking Of’.
The three-track EP was launched at O2 Academy Islington in London, UK.
On 7 September 2013, Sir. O launched his debut single, 'Please Stop Talking', at Brixton Jamm (London, UK) as a headline support for The Subways frontman Billy Lunn.
In 2014, alongside partner Lir Shilton, they founded ‘GoPro Sessions’, a series of cover sessions filmed with GoPro cameras. It has received praises from A-ha, GoPro and was featured on the American popular-magazine 'Acoustic Guitar'.
In January 2015, 'Please Stop Talking' music video was added to SubTV playlist alongside singles from the likes of Noel Gallagher, The Prodigy and more.
Throughout 2014 and 2015 he played an acoustic tour, including gigs at O2 Academy Birmingham & Islington and a special gig in Paris, France.
Sir. O has received public recognition from Britpop artists – he supported Mark Morriss (Bluetones) live and was played by Rick Witter (Shed Seven) on his Minster FM radio show.
His music is being played on over 100 radio stations worldwide, including BBC London.
His debut album "Forever + a Day" out 8/8/16 via MishMish Records.
