When prog-rock pianist Michael Sadler and psychedelic singer/songwriter Greg Shields met in 2009, something magical happened and Conundrum In Deed was born. They were quickly joined by prodigal bassist Henry Green (Exit Black) and drummer/producer Dan Berrebi (dbClifford, Phonixamadi). In 2013 they released their debut album, Gentlemen, a music journey infused with notes of 60’s psychedelic, 70’s prog, folk, jazz, and classical. The band has taken a 2 year break from live shows to work on a new album, Travelling House. While staying true to its progressive roots, Travelling House draws heavily on funk and jazz influences. It’s due for release in 2017, so stay tuned for previews, singles, and announcements. In 2016 Conundrum In Deed said a sad farewell to Michael, who has taken an indefinite hiatus to explore fantastical lands beyond imagination. The band continues with Greg, drummer Tom Sibly, and musical maestro Duncan Harding on bass, and will return to the London live scene from March 2017.
