The Chase

About

If you're looking to read the biography of the hit ITV quiz show "The Chase" then you are in the wrong place. The Chase that you are reading about is the band from Bristol. A four piece band consisting of co-founders Tom Pepper (vocals) and James Tomblin (guitars) and their trusty rhythm section Duke Grooves (drums) and Pete Bucksley (bass). Since the point of creation in January 2012 the band has written and recorded two EPs, gained experience as tour support for major acts such as Hue & Cry, The Real Thing and Dizraeli & The Small Gods, and headlined their fair share of near sell-out gigs at The Fleece as a headline act. For an infant band in the crowded live music of Bristol, The Chase have made quite an impact. With hard hitting, memorable songs such as "Sex", "No Money" and "Real" the band are tipped for "Bigger Things" in 2013. (A Message from Tom Pepper)

Imagine a cow. Now picture it eating grass. Softly, munching down that green goodness into one of its many stomachs. Looking constantly bewildered and soulless. Still chewing. Not mooing. Just chewing.

Now STOP thinking about the cow, because "The Chase" are nothing like cows. If we were compared to animals it would be the ever majestic and beautiful dog. Four friendly waggly tailed dogs. eager to please and hungry for walkies. Gigs are like our food and fans like our trees. Except we dont urinate on their fans. (we're not R Kelly)
