Put down yer tankards an' yer wenches an' listen up! The whisperin's an' tall tales ye've heard in the docks an' taverns around Cornwall are true. There be a new band of buccaneers in town. A scurvy group of salty sea dogs if I ever laid eyes on one. This rag-tag band of cursed sinners, scoundrels, and scumbags 'ave returned from foreign shores an' strange lands with both booty by the chestful, an' a new brand of wailin' and noise makin' know as both Pirate Punk and Piratecore, dependin' on which rum-addled drunk ye talk to.
So when the grey mists lap at the coastal villages, be warned! The murderous cut-throats know as Pirate Copy may well be on the loose, searchin' for more lowlifes to press-gang into becomin' new crew members. And if ye set just one foot aboard their ship of the damned, well, ye'll have the time of yer life. But ye'll never be the same again.
Pirate Copy are a six-piece pirate band hailing from Cornwall, the home of piracy, who play high octane, rum-drenched, melodic folk-punk. Their style is a raucous brand of party-hard, Ramones-sing-a-long, melodic punk rock, with a folk twist, and a hardcore vocal style which sits well with the pirate theme. Despite taking a heavy influence from Dropkick Murphys and The Pogues, elements of Andrew WK, NOFX, and Teenage Bottlerocket have also had a strong impact on their sound.
