thevillainandi originally started as a prodomiantly emo rock band from Wolverhampton, but when singer Daniel Charles Toone moved down to "the smoke" the music started to grow and develop into a more polished and relaxed style, with undertones of popular music. For the past 4 years Daniel has been playing in various bands around London, but decided to recreate thevillainandi as part of a solo project. Now the results are about to go overseas for the first time, playing shows in NYC, Chicago and Toronto this summer.
