Malaika is a Singer/songwriter from Ireland who plays soul-full R&B tunes inspired buy her African/Irish roots. 

Her songwriting indulges in luscious, yet witty Jazz chords with a cheeky Reggae twist. Her smoky soulful vocals are instantly gripping and spicy, fiery attitude on stage will blow you away. She may small but carries a big voice. 

She quickly flourished into a widely recognised pop artist in Northern Ireland of and played many local and public performances from her local hairdressers to largely recognised festivals.

She holds a BA degree from Leeds College of Music, one of the UK's leading music conservatoires where she has Collaborated with professional songwriters such as Iain Archer (Snow Patrol) gained experience in many different bands and receives professional voice coaching. 

She has been a session singer for a range of producers and songwriters in Leeds and Ireland singing mostly R&B or pop styles.
