Billy Bibby (Former Catfish and the Bottlemen)

Made in Lancashire and raised in the Welsh seaside resort of Llandudno. Former Catfish & The Bottlemen guitarist Billy Bibby was one of the founding members of the band and cut his gigging teeth for 7 years up and down the UK, Europe and over in the States as the bands lead guitarist and backing vocalist. One of his greatest achievements to date is the gold disk he earned while back in the band for there first album 'The Balcony'.

Now taking on his own solo project and looking to forage his own way in the industry. Billy Bibby's voice has all the traditions of a Lancashire hotpot churned together with the excitement of a trip to the beach. Possessing powerful melodic pipes and a set of songs to match. Bibby prides himself on making those records that everyday people will understand and resonate with. Influences from such greats as Elvis Presley, Noel Gallagher and Mark Knopfler most prominent but not defining on his singing and song writing style. Bibby will be playing acoustic shows up and down the country trialling new material and seeing what reaction he gets from the crowd to his new tracks. Further down the line he is looking to get more musicians on board to put some meat onto the bones of his music. Billy is really excited about his new songs and cannot wait to get stuck into the British music scene again and show the people what he can do on his own. A live acoustic act with a point to prove and a bright future.
