Josie Blakelock is a singer-songwriter from Hampshire, currently based in Bristol in the UK. Her music is haunting and lyrical, with a focus on storytelling, inspired by her love of literature. Her musical influences include artists such as Kate Bush, Jeff Buckley, Joni Mitchell, and Laura Marling.

Josie has performed at internationally renowned venues such as Ronnie Scotts, The Louisiana, and Thekla, and received acclaim for her music from BBC Introducing in the West (2017), as well as BBC Introducing in Sussex and Surrey (2023). Her debut album, “The Conqueror”, is out now.
