STAG is an alternative pop-rock band from Italy, originally formed in 2008 in Rome. They released their first album "L'Atlante Dei Pensieri" in 2012, produced by Depeche Mode, Paul McCartney and The Cure sound engineer, Steve Lyon. They composed several soundtracks for cinema, theater and television. Their original song "To The Wonders", taken from their second album released in 2017, features in "One Kiss", a movie directed by Ivan Cotroneo, along with the music of Placebo, Lamb, Craig Armstrong, Mika, Lady Gaga, Blondie, Emeli Sandè. Their music combines elements of indie-rock with classical music, electronic and soundtrack influences. They've been nominated twice for "best original song" at the "David Di Donatello" the italian Oscars awards. As supporting act they opened for Moby, Suzanne Vega, Azure Ray, The Irrepressibles, Jay Brannan and others. The bandleader co-wrote the italian version of Ed Sheeran's single "Perfect" performed with Andrea Bocelli.
