Sarpa Salpa are a 4-piece indie rock band from Northampton who formed in 2016 featuring George (guitar), Marcus (guitar & vox), Charlie (drums) & Ethan (bass). A busy 2018 saw the band play over 80 shows including 20 Festivals in the UK and overseas dates in France and Germany. The band wrapped their busy summer tour up with a show for BBC Introducing at The Big Feastival before heading indoors in the autumn prior to more live shows including a London date as part of BLOGTOBERFEST. In October the band released their single "SMITH" on both digital and vinyl formats which saw the band picking up airplay over the regional BBC Introducing network, Amazing Radio as well as both BBC 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq & Chris Hawkins. Wrapping up 2018 the band were invited to play BBC Introducing Live at Tobacco Dock and they finished up the year with a small Christmas Tour hitting Hoxton, Northampton and Bedford, the latter two both sell out shows. Keen to capitalise on the groundwork "SMITH" laid, Sarpa Salpa unleashed their new single ‘CASANOVA’ on 14th February. Already the track has been picked up by BBC Introducing, received numerous plays from Steve Lamacq on BBC Radio 6 who compared the bands live show to that of Catfish & The Bottlemen.
