ETNO is a four piece rock band based in Brasília with influences that range from grunge to new metal but adding a contemporary touch to their sound and performance. The band has been on the road gaining speed for the last 16 years, building a solid career and a big influence in their hometown as well as other cities and states of Brazil. In 2017 ETNO was awarded “Best of the Fest” at Indie Week Festival out of the 300+ bands that were playing at more than 20 venues in Toronto, Canada. The recognition had wide spread effect in local media and is an amazing milestone in the band’s history. Although it’s not what they’re set out to do, ETNO’s known for collecting awards in every festival they play, but this last one is definitely more than special. 

2018 is turning out to be a iconic year for ETNO. The full release of their third studio album is set for mid-year, several tours throughout Brazil are rolling out and as a result of the award at Indie Week, they will be headlining Indie Week UK in Manchester in October and in November back to Toronto as last years winners of the fest. Soon other news will be announced regarding the celebration of their 16 year long career, tours and products.
