Beacon are a breath of fresh, country air, serving up their unique take on indie/folk music. Although they have been playing and writing music together for a number of years, the five friends decided to come together in 2016 as Beacon. Inspired by artists such as Joshua Radin, Ray La Montagne, John Mayer, The Shires, Adam Barnes, PALE WAVES and The Magic Gang, Beacon focus on writing music with meaningful lyrics drawn from life experiences, soft vocals, close harmonies and memorable instrumental riffs. After honing their sound, writing music and gigging regularly in and around the South-East of England, Beacon released their Debut EP in December 2018. Having been compared to both Fleetwood Mac and London Grammar, Beacon have demonstrated that they can create music which pushes the boundaries of genre and appeal to a wide variety of audiences.
