Formed in South London, the members of A.R.T have experience entertaining audiences all across the UK, Europe and America with their energetic performances and catchy songs! Since first meeting each other at a young age, members Alfie Clayton (Guitar/ Lead Vocals/ Percussion), Scott Gordon (Drums), Tom Blawat (Lead Guitar) have been writing, playing and performing together in multiple bands, playing venues such as London’s Royal Festival Hall, Wimbledon Tennis and the Hideaway Jazz Club. The introduction of Gino Niella (Bass and Madness) lead to the formation of A.R.T as it’s known today, with its much more rockier and energetic style!

At the beginning of 2018, Frontman Alfie Clayton had started writing and recording some singles that soon lead to the release of ‘Hopeless Romantic’, A.R.T’s first official single! After a couple months since its release, Clayton was then contacted by a local up coming band, Kimono Loco, to support them at their EP launch at the Spice Of Life in Soho. This then lead him having to form a band, thus creating A.R.T!

Shortly after their first gig, the band noticed the rapid growth and progression that they soon began to receive, receiving offers for gigs all cross the country, attracting attention from Many established venues/ artists/ fans, and soon the offer to record an EP!

In December 2018, A.R.T spent 3 days in their local recording studio, Silver Shark Studios, with The Verve’s ex-engineer, Gareth Ashton. Within the short few days, the band had recorded 5 new tracks, “A compelling array of great contrasting songs, tackling themes of Romance, Post-teen angst, Politics, Freedom and Emotion!” After this, Clayton then flew to the sunny hills of Los Angeles, to record some more singles to help accomplish the EP. The 5 tracked adventure of an EP, was then titled ‘WHAT MIGHT BE.’ reflecting on how it is a brilliant taster of what the band have to offer and the exciting future that approaches them! It is set to be released early 2019.

As 2018 came to a close, and after being a band for just four months, A.R.T had created 1 exhilarating EP, started plans for 2 explosive-packed tours (National and International) and had formed an unique, quirky-yet-electrifying gang of “Skilled Madness” that are taking modern rock by storm!
