The Optimists deliver a riff-driven fusion of 90s and 2000s alternative music, earning a loyal fan base along the South Coast and beyond. Their energetic live shows and catchy melodies have audiences chanting along and dancing to favourites like “Chase the Sun” and “Retro-Mania.” 

Hailing from the home of bands such as Wet Leg, Coach Party, Lauran Hibberd, and Grade 2, The Optimists are the next name to watch from the Isle of Wight. So far, they have supported bands like The K’s, The Clause, The Kairos, Feet, and The Rosellas, and they have performed at events such as the Victorious Festival and the Isle of Wight Festival’s Main Stage.
