About

Michael Crean is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and spoken-word artist. Working across a variety of genres his shows shift from live-looped guitars, folk songs, jazz violin solos and spoken word. Drawing on a range of influences from Radiohead, Damien Rice, Matt Maltese and Kae Tempest, Crean creates a unique and unpredictable live show.

Last year Michael opened for Billake Sissoko & Vincent Segal at the Roundhouse with the ‘Roundhouse Music Collective’, headlined a Breaking-Sounds UK Showcase. In January 2023 Michael is releasing his debut 7 track EP Songs to the Sea and taking the accompanying live show to venues across London.
