Cian Downing is a 21-year-old singer, guitarist and songwriter based in North London, inspired by The Jam, The Specials, The Lathums, Arctic Monkeys and many other British guitar acts, but he infuses my songs with elements of 60s soul music, ska and reggae. Crafting songs based on his own life experiences and events happening in the world today, Cian is emerging onto the London scene as an exciting and dynamic performer and songwriter, attracting frequent comparisons to Paul Weller. Downing released  debut EP ‘English Summers’ in July 2021, and he has more new music lined up for 2022, including his new single ‘Don’t Go Away’, pencilled in for release on Friday 25th March.
