John Lion hails from London, delivering a vibrant indie folk rock sound that fuses the 60s melody with the alternative energy of the 90s, his music revives these classic influences while adding a contemporary twist.

2024 ended on a high with a first festival slot at Hertfordshire’s Begin Here festival and the honour of supporting 60s legends The Zombies. In 2025, John Lion was nominated as Male Solo Artist of the Year by NMG.
In 2026 John and his band are touring in the UK and beyond (London, Brighton, Dublin…) promoting his first EP. They will also features on some UK festival stages this summer.
