Polyvinyl are a female-fronted five-piece post-punk new-wave indie-rock-ish band from South Tyneside, taking inspiration from anything mad to sad.

After their second single ‘Modern Art People’ was voted North East Track of the Year by North Eastern radio station Nova Radio, they set their targets even higher, recently releasing critically-acclaimed follow up: ‘Nirvana Now’.

Although currently unannounced (shhh), Polyvinyl are gearing up to the release of an EP later this summer, including their three previously released tracks and 2 new ones, adding extra context and depth to what they describe as a “concept EP”.
