ARTEMIS are an alternative four piece based in central Machester.

Although guitars are the core of much of the songwriting, ARTEMIS are creating sounds that blur the boundaries between genres such as indie, alternative and dark rock. With guitarists Matt Macdonald and drummer Luke Komlosy bringing a different angle to the song’s instrumentals with a more jazz and world music influence.

Josh Oliva, frontman and rhythm guitar and songwriter in the band, takes influence from alternative giants such as Florence and The Machine, The National and Kings of Leon. Creating songs where both the lyrics and instrumental are tied together to create emotive music with many layers to discover.
