People say we’re different but we just try to keep it exciting”, say Paint Me In Colour. The Liverpool-based four-piece, whose sound has evolved from classic indie numbers to incorporating “spangly guitars, nostalgic hooks, and distorted drum grooves”.
Their 2019 debut single ‘Feel It.’ was packed with soulful vocals and summer vibes, and boasts being backed by BBC Introducing, Popped Music and Gigwise. Latest track, ‘Pity Me’, however, is reminiscent of alternative artists Maisie Peters and Fickle Friends as well as Pop icon Avril Lavigne.
Next year, the band will take their “electrifying” live sound on the road, and plan to get some heavy-weight festivals under their belt.
