MIMI is a singer-songwriter and guitarist born and raised in London, who released her debut singles ‘Oblivion Baby’ and ‘80s Playlist’ in the second-half of 2022. Since then, her music has been featured on Spotify playlists such as Fresh Finds UK & IE and New Music Friday, and has been played on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio London. MIMI was named Future Hits Radio ‘Artist of the Week’ after the release of her second single 80s Playlist. MIMI’s music is both atmospheric and intimate, with stripped back lyrics she connects with listeners as if they’re her closest friends. Her sound is within the indie and bedroom-pop genres, and BBC Introducing’s Jess Iszatt described her style as ‘raw and new’.
