Leon Maddy is multi-award wining harmonicist who has graced the stage of the Wembley Arena, MOBOS and The Mumford and Sons festival. He began playing the instrument after his aunt gave him a harmonica at age 14 with a harmonica tutorial book and video. He then started to teach himself the instrument and began applying the harmonica to different styles of genres such as Jazz, Hip Hop and Rock. This has ultimately led him to over 200+ performances and he was also a featured artist on the Mercury Music Prize nominated album ‘ESKA’ as well as a performance on the online platform TEd Talks. He continues to compose, record his own material and perform around the UK and overseas.
