As heard on BBC Radio London and BBC Radio Merseyside, Paul Askew is a solo artist from Liverpool who writes, performs, arranges, and produces his own songs.

As a result of his primary influences being the likes of The Strokes, The Beach Boys, Oasis, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac and The La’s, he focuses on generating captivating melodies, artistic lyricism, and maintaining the traditional pop-rock sensibilities of the 60s.

Paul has been regularly gigging by himself/ with his backing band to wide audiences (Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester, Chester, St Helens), receiving heavy acclaim in the process. Most notably, he supported James Walsh (Starsailor) in November 2023 for his short UK tour.
