Hailing from the vibrant coastal city of Portsmouth, The Mallees channel their love of alt-rock and indie as they confront such pressing themes as mental health struggles, the abuse of power, and the uncharted territory that comes with living in an era of climate catastrophe and economic breakdown. The band formed in 2022 after all that crazy shit happened and have been consistently releasing music and building a community of support, with regular live performances and a strong emphasis on fan engagement through Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. With their debut EP set for release in Summer 2024, The Mallees hope to make a splash in the music scene, and keep people questioning the status quo.
