The unassuming exterior of this 17th century establishment in Islington, beguiles it’s rich heritage and it’s recent History. Situated just off of Upper Street in the heart of Islington’s night life, it’s renowned for more than just a convenient thirst quencher.
Decorated in period chandeliers, wall length leather booths and boasting an open fireplace or two it’s every inch the lavish and spacious live music venue we’ve come to know and love. This place has played host to more than just a few drunken publicans with the likes of ‘The Kooks’, ‘Bombay Bicycle Club’ and ‘Foals’ to name but a few, gracing the stage. Not to mention a few DJ sets from the ‘Ninja Tunes’ Roster, it seems there’s more to this ‘Pub’ than meets the eye and there’s plenty of life in the old girl yet.
