71A is a South London duo crafting futuristic, alternative R&B that blends soulful vocals with lush synths, electronic textures, and live instrumentation. Made up of producer J Kov and vocalist Dec Foster—both multi-instrumentalists—their sound draws from old-school R&B roots while leaning into soultronica, indie soul, and electronic grooves.

Inspired by artists like D’Angelo, Kaytranada, Mac Ayres and Brent Faiyaz, 71A exists in the space between live feel and digital polish—intimate, off-centre, and rhythmically rich.
