Andy was born and raised in Surrey, moving to London after leaving University where he studied a mix of politics, literature and screenwriting! His musical career has seen him venture to such far flung places as Canada, USA, Italy and Balham, playing music and indulging in banter with audiences in all locations. Critical (if not financial) success was enjoyed with both band and solo projects, his most recent album being “Causin’ Havoc, Breakin’ Hearts”, a past-time which Andy claims he has given up doing for some time now.

After a much needed break of 18 months Andy is back with as strong a desire as ever to get out there and play music to as many people as possible. One of the defining aspects of any of his shows is his chat between songs, and the humour and warmth between artist and audience is palpable. Lyrically cheeky and intelligent, musically melodic, Andy’s songs appeal to all manner of people. One eminent manager once said that he reckons “80% of Andy’s sales are to females, and the other 20% are to blokes buying for their girlfriends.” Whether that was a compliment or not, who knows!
