Arcade State are a 5 piece alternative pop band based in Clydebank. Over the last year, they have gone from strength to strength, building a credible reputation as a contender in Scotland’s new music scene with their hard hitting anthemic sound and high octane and passionate live performances. The band’s recent single Silence received airplay globally, with streaming figures surpassing all expectations.
Cheerleaders include Amazing Radio’s Jim Gellatly and actor Robert Carlyle who regularly tweets about his love for their music. The band kick started their return to the live stage with a sold out hometown show at Nice n’ Sleazy and followed this up with subsequent sell out supporting The Voice winner Craig Eddie at King Tuts. Arcade state rounded off 2021 with a headline at G2 Glasgow and also a St lukes Glasgow support show. The band were voted Songbird HQ Best band 2021 and have been tipped for big things in 2022 by many bloggers and writers.
2022 is set to be a huge year for the band with a sold out Manchester headline; a first venture up north in Scotland to the ironworks in Inverness and a huge headline at Glasgow’s SWG3 warehouse! The band will head south for a 6 date tour in England
