Inspired by a mixture of indie rock and Irish folk music, Ash Palmer writes stories and observations of the people and places around him backed up with catchy melodies and seriously powerful vocals. Inspired to become a musician after seeing Stereophonics live in 2008, Ash has been writing and performing for over 13 years. Initially inspired by indie giants such as stereophonics and Oasis, in more recent years Ash has combined his indie roots with his love for Irish folk acts, particularly The Pogues and The Dubliners, to create a collection of songs that cross multiple genres yet have a common theme of storytelling and social observations.
