Ayla

About

Originally born in the mountains of Northern Spain, the now London-based Ayla is a singer, songwriter, and performer, fusing the very best of disco, dance, pop, and R&B.

Her latest single ‘Dance with Me!’ Has an infectious groove (130bpm to be exact) and sleek production, it epitomises Ayla’s ethos – to release fun, high-energy music. Written in the SAFO Artist Development studio, produced by Theo Yamazaki, and mastered by Tony Cousins (Adele, Elton John, George Michael) at Metropolis Studios, the track is full-bodied and oozes Ayla’s signature sound, much like the rest of her discography.

However Ayla’s ultimate goal is to push the boundaries and discover another genre entirely; perhaps by utilising elements of jazz, and showcasing her huge vocal range and impressively intricate vocal techniques.

On a personal level, Ayla aims to tailor her music towards women, hoping it will speak to them directly. Feminism is a huge part of Ayla’s identity and she wants to use her music to create a safe space for women to express themselves – whether out partying or just dancing in their bedrooms, Ayla wants her audience to feel free and at ease, particularly at her live shows.

Ayla has already gained incredible traction on Spotify with over 10k streams on her single ‘Attraction’ and, most notably, over 20k streams on ‘Hunting for Love’. She has given many amazing live performances, including at Camden Assembly, and has also collaborated with Segundo Grandío from the 1980s Spanish rock band, Siniestro Total. With such a clear vision for her future and an unparalleled ambition, Ayla is nothing short of inspirational to listeners and fellow musicians alike.
