Four lads from Cardiff who are looking to take British music by storm and have managed to pick up thousands of streams through word of mouth. After a string of virtual shows in 2020 (including Finnsperry for the NHS), Basic State have picked up gigs in Birmingham, with Lampshade, Bristol and Cardiff (with the likes of This Feeling) giving them an exciting end to 2021. Now with high energy tracks like their latest single ‘You’re In Town’ and a new EP on the way, 2022 is looking to be the best year yet for Basic State. The next leg of gigs boasts the likes of Clwb Ifor Bach and The Radio 6 Music festival. “The main thing we want to do is give the crowd a good time and a night they’ll remember”
