London based singer-songwriter Ben James Donaldson began his musical journey in a rock band called Aroma. Seeking more creative input, he decided to leave after 4 years, and start recording and playing gigs on his own. Over the past years, he has performed in such venues as The Borderline, Camden Underworld, The Dublin Castle, Sound Republic and The Barfly, while recording his material, of which many have been released online. His song ‘Pathways’ also appeared on the ‘Voices Found’ charity EP, which raised money for people stammer to work towards getting control of their speech. Ben’s tuneful, guitar based music alongside with a warm, high-ranged voice and capturing lyrics inspired by his life earned Semi finalist, multiple commendations and two higher commendation awards in the UK Songwriting Contest between 2011 and 2019, and he was recently selected to write with Syco Entertainment as part of Sony Music. His recent EP ‘A Thousand Stories’ was released in March 2018 and is available on all digital platforms and his new single 'Invisible' will be released October 30th 2019
