Bio

Bex is a Singer/Songwriter from North London. Performing since the age of 5, it was inevitable Bex with her slight frame and enormous voice, she was destined to have a passion for music. Being around a Gospel singing Mum and music vinyl collecting Dad, she would be exposed to wonderful world of Church. Being a proficient Soprano, secret alto and harmonic tenor vocalist. Bex skilfully uses her soothing soulful tone to paint vivid and diverse stories in her songs, providing her audience with a exciting window into her consciousness, experiences and perspective on life.

Bex insists on remaining herself by going with her instincts. Bex plays a large part in the production, composition and arrangement of her songs. So as to convey not only her love for God but to showcase her huge talent for songwriting, engineering, performing, and singing. Bex’s overall vision is to connect, share and give her audience a connection to her friend
the king Jesus.

Even though Bex specialises in Gospel as her chosen form as an artist, she is heavily involved in songwriting for others in contemporary music of all genres and is currently working with a production team to provide music to various major record labels. She released her first debut EP “Transition” in 2013 and just released her Mixtape “Trust You” in November 2016. She also released a Track “Road Away” produced by the exceptional producer Pantha for the Joe Strummer charity album for the Oxfam Syria Appeal 2016. Bex also plans on releasing a project with the next year, stay beamed in for 2017.

Bex’s performance, recording & writing portfolio is extensive and a sign of just how coveted her talent really is, she can proudly say she has performed at the O2 Arena, O2 Academy, ILUVLIVE, Lovebox and the Legendary Ronnie Scotts as well as numerous other Festivals and live events. Also planned, directed, marketed, promoted and performed at her own event Bexsongstress Live Transition #BLT April 2015.

Bex has recently been nominated for Best Gospel Awards Newcomer 2016.
Voice Over lady for Reelworld, BBC1xtra, Kiss FM & 2FM released EP Transition which reflects her decision to steer away from more secular music and concentrate on her beloved Gospel.
