Bridging the gap between the unorthodox breaks of Grouplove and the hook-heavy passion of Weezer, London-based trio Black Surf are an alternative-rock melting pot. A band with their sights and ethos set far beyond the humble parameters of their instruments, this group is challenging what it means to be an independent artist in today’s industry. Inspired by some of the biggest names in the business, 2018 will see Black Surf embarking on a world tour in support of their second record, while producing a film to document the process. All of this while relying solely on the collaborations of others to make it happen. The band has received rave reviews from Rock Sound Magazine, The BBC, Classic Rock and The 405. Since the formation of the band, they have supported acts such as Lonely The Brave, Dune Rats, Francobollo and DZ Deathrays.
