Blood Red Stars are a four piece band from Abingdon,Oxfordshire. Originally formed as a bedroom project with founder members Stu Wilson and Dan Milham. Andrew Taylor joined on drums and the band was up and running. After injury forced Andrew from the drums,he moved to guitar allowing Ben Hawkins to join the band behind the kit. The music can be best described as indie but with a massive nod towards the shoe gaze and alt-rock bands of the late 80's and early 90's such as Ride, The Pixies and My Bloody Valentine. Strong melodies and fantastic songs make Blood Red Stars a force to be reckoned with on the saturated indie scene..
