Carley Varley is a Pop/Rock band hailing from the South Coast of England! Consisting of members vocalist and guitarist Carley Varley, bassist Jordan Shepherd, guitarist Alex Tompkins and drummer Fred Sedgeley. Named after its lead singer Carley Varley formed in 2023 to perform Carley’s very own songs that she had performed acoustically previously. The band are inspired by artists like Blondie, The Cranberries and Paramore, Carley’s vocals have been likened to that of Hayley Williams. Carley Varley’s Homesick EP was featured on BBC Introducing and the band have performed at some notable venues including The Bedford, The Half Moon Putney and Chaplin’s Cellar Bar. They also performed at Poole Harbour Festival, Rock the Rec, Dubsouth Camp Out and Dorchester Festival this summer. The band bring so much energy to the stage and love what they do, whether it be performing originals or chucking in a cheeky cover of one of their favourite bands.
