Charles is a 21 year old singer/songwriter based in North London. Originally from Stevenage, Charles grew up spending Sunday mornings blaring out his Dad's collection of soul classics whilst he hoovered the sitting room. The likes of Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross and John Legend all played their part in Charles discovering the sound he has today. Now a bit older, his ears have turned to the likes of Jordan Rakei, Nao and Sampha amongst other alternative soul and dark r'n'b sounds. Charles and his arrangement of bellowing low notes and soaring falsetto choruses prove to be an enticing mismatch. Set to release his debut EP early next year, expect big things from this even bigger 7ft giant.
