About

“Stones on a Sandy Beach is a beautiful song.”
 – Rod Stewart

“I would have been proud to have written that at age fifty, let alone fifteen.”
 – Andy Hill, three-time Ivor Novello award winning song-writer

In the past few years, Charlie has regularly headlined many venues around the south of England and London including Bournemouth Folk Club and Bar Vinyl, Camden as well as playing regular sets at The Bedford, Balham, The Regal Rooms, Hammersmith and Proud in Camden Town.
In 2012 he was asked to support Billy Ocean for various dates on his UK tour, and has previously supported Steve Harley at the 02 Academy Bournemouth.

He is currently signed to two international publishing deals (Rondor/Univeral and Fuji Pacific) for his songwriting, both of whom are looking to secure record deals on the back of his debut album ‘The Joy of a Caged Bird’ released February 2013.

Charlie has been writing songs since the age of eleven and it is clear that his rare gift for perceptive lyrics, striking melodies and his distinctive vocals could give him the opportunity to reach an international audience. Under the management and guidance of Jim Cregan, he is now starting to gain the recognition his singing and music deserves.
