Crown the fool was created in October 2013 originally by Michele Quaglio (Guitar & Vocals) and David Cannon (Drums) who used to play together in a prog rock band.

Michele and David had 3 songs written and plenty of ideas, so they decided to create a band together. They started looking for a bassist, and recruited Jérôme Burnet a few weeks later.

Since, they have written a lot together, and have created a rock sound, mixed with loads of various influences. First of all, each band member comes from a different country, and different music tastes. The result is a punchy rock with intricated musicianship. However, they are all friendly, and like fun onstage with banter etc.

The music can remind the likes of Muse, but more proggy, and the vocals come straight from 90's rock.

All musicians are extremely creative with sounds as well, and despite being a 3 piece, the music sounds fat and groovy. Guitar solos, slap bass, double kick drums… A weird mix which seems to work.
