Daisy Mae is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Plymouth whose music is a fusion of acoustic, jazz, and indie-pop. Most of her songs are in the form of social commentary, with lyrics that focus on the way of the world, and the importance of stepping off the treadmill we find ourselves on.

She takes inspiration from a range of artists with soulful melodies or truthful lyrics. These include Julie London, Billie Holiday, Adele, Greentea Peng, Ella Fitzgerald, Bob Dylan, and Sade. 

Her EP, Free Your Mind is based around having open eyes and living without confines. It was written, recorded, and produced by Daisy, and it has been aired on BBC Introducing in the South West.
