As an artist hailing from East London, music became embedded in her DNA, as she drew songwriting inspiration from life, love, loss, & everything in between. 

She fell in love with legends of early soul and RnB, such as Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott & Sam Cooke. Playing with genres led her to find her voice in the space between UK RnB and indie Soul, with lyrics that draw on her love for God & her honesty about life, in the hope that it brings healing & resurrection to the soul.
