Dolly and the Dinosaur are an 18/19 year old four piece based in the North of England, combining 'catchy guitar riffs and soft vocals' into their indie rock songs. The band write and perform all their own music, composing the songs in drummer Rohan's shed, 'the Dollhouse'. Dolly released their debut singles 'Without' and 'Unofficial' in September 2017, with follow up singles 'Indigo Child', ‘Leo’ and ‘Sad Kids’ released over the last two years. In early 2020, the boys will release their debut EP. As of December 2019 the band have received over 220,000 streams on Spotify, receiving frequent airplay on their local BBC Introducing programme. The band name derives from a Peppa Pig quote, 'lets play with dollies and dinosaurs'. Since forming in late 2016, the band have played at numerous venues across the country, as well as slots at the prestigious YNOT? Festival in July 2018, and Truck Festival in July 2019. In January 2019 the band played a sold-out 350 capacity headline show in High Wycombe.
