Driving Cassady

About

Three songwriters, three stories.

Summer evening in August. A band and their friends. A bonfire and a battered Fender steel-string. Singer & drummer Hampus Halling in a corduroy western shirt starts singing on Old Train. Everyone is drumming their hands. Doing harmonies. The passing along of that guitar. Another voice, another story.

The three original members of the band (Halling, Jakobsson, & White) came together for one reason: to tell their stories through music. One day 'professor dead head' (Bergman) showed up at rehearsal, playing a psychadelic groove on the bass. After expanding their sound, the now four members of the group met a traveling man (Giummarella) who carried his saxophone around. This is Driving Cassady.
