El Ray are an indie rock band from
Newcastle-upon-Tyne performing
original music inspired by artists such
as Sam Fender, The Strokes, and
Fontaines DC amongst others.
Based in Newcastle and London,
the band brings a stylistically distinct
brand of music, crafting melancholic
lyrics with upbeat melodies, dynamic
bass and punchy drums.
The songs range from classic alt/indie
rock sounds to haunting ballads
building to heavy anthemic crescendos.
