Elisa Astrid is a singer/songwriter and producer based in London. Dreamy beats, melancholic lyrics and dark tones in her voice will take you on a journey through bitter life experiences of a young artist. Listening to her music will remind you of Banks and Sevdaliza, or a female version of James Blake. Born in Latvia, she started singing in a traditional choir from the age of 6. Growing up, Elisa was inspired by artists such as Erykah Badu, Nina Simone, Rihanna – all of those had something in common, amazing singing skills and endless talent. It always felt natural to sing worldwide hits and western music. With a dream of becoming a worldwide known singer , she moved to London at the age of 18 to pursue her career as a professional musician. She has performed in multiple venues around London, such as "Cafe 1001" in Shoreditch, "The Good Ship" and "Nambucca" in North London and others. She has also performed in the city of Manchester, at "Partisan Collective".Elisa has played in support for a Texan band 'Sphynx' on their UK tour last spring at the Troubadour. In 2017, Elisa self-released a debut EP "Blind Silence" on Soundcloud and it had a feature on the American electronic music blog "The Rainbow Exotic", as well as included in the "New Music" podcast. At the end of 2017, Elisa Astrid released a single called "Sweet Dreams", which is part of the trilogy she is going to fully put out in the next few months.
