Emily Davies is a singer-songwriter, originally from Herefordshire but now based here in London. She plays regularly around the London circuit, including gigs at the Troubadour, The Finsbury, Proud Camden, Inspiral, The Green Note and at festivals including The Big Chill, Festinho, Glastonbury, Nozstock and Dot-to-Dot. She recently supported Laura Marling and Willy Mason at the first ever Secret Music event and is currently working on a new EP, set for release towards the end of the year.

Her songs blend bittersweet folk with a melodic mix of alt-country, pop and folk and for all her wistful romanticism, there's plenty of soul here too. Unashamedly retro but with a modern sensibility, Emily Davies is an artist you'd like to keep as your own little secret but she won't be a secret for long.
